MRN can purchase from a Chinese manufacture and have it delivered direct to the end user in PNG, Timor-Leste or Fiji.
In most cases Customs and GST free*.
What items can we purchase?
Generally we have restricted purchases to Portable Ultrasound and Patient Monitors. These are affordable and easy to ship by Air Freight.
How Much do they cost?
Portable Ultrasounds with 1 x Convex probe in carry case including all taxes and shipping cost = $3,000.00 to $3,500.00 Au**
How is this done?
MRN can from donated funds*** purchase and oversee delivery and communicate directly with the manufacture shipping agent, Rotary Club and the recipient hospital from order to delivery.
Or - Once payment is received by the manufacture, MRN will oversee delivery and communicate directly with the manufacture, shipping agent, Rotary Club and the recipient hospital from order to delivery.

MRN works with Rotary clubs in Australia, Timor-Leste, PNG, Slomon Islands and Fiji.
What does MRN get out of this?
MRN is a non-for-profit organization and it's role is to support doctors and midwives with new or used medical diagnostic and monitor equipment to help serve communities in need.
