Mater Donates Patient Monitors to Fiji

In May this year, the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, Suva, Fiji took delivery of 4 Hewlett - Packard Paitent Monitors. How did that happen?

These unit were no longer needed by our DSU and they were about to go to the place where older Patient Monitors go (don’t ask).

Luckily, Wayne Leathem, Scrub Nurse accepted the monitors on behalf of his charity – Medical Repurposing Network. MRN organised to send it to where it was really needed, packaging it and shipping it there in conjunction with Rotary Club of Suva, Fiji.

MRN also shipped 3 x Emergency Drug Trolleys to the

same hospital. Together, these items are helping improve the lives of patients. .

Medical Repurposing Network donations are accepted through RAWCS -Rotary Australia World Community Services and any charitable donations are tax deductible.
