Can I nominate were my donation will go?
Yes. On the RAWCS and RABS donation form with the sub heading "Request" anyone wanting their fund to be used on a specific project can make this request.
However, if there is a surplus of funds for the requested MRN project then the funds may be used for the another project at the same hospital/clinic.
What is the legal structure of Medical Repurposing Network Incorporated?
MRN is an Australian Registered charity with the ACNC.
MRN Overseas Projects is an endorsed project of Rotary Club of Sydney Cove District 9675.
All donations for Overseas Projects are held by Rotary Australia World Community Services Project Number 43-2015-16
MRN Outback Australia is an endorsed project of Rotary Club of Currumbin-Coollangatta-Tweed District 9640.
All donations for Outback Australian Projects are held by Rotary Australia Benevolent Society Project Number 90-2019-20
Why are there two donation pages?
Funds donated to MRN RAWCS Overseas Projects can only be used for project outside of Australia.
Funds donated to MRN RABS Outback Australian Project can only be used for Project within Australia.
ATO Tax Receipts
An ATO approved tax receipt will be issued once funds have been cleared 97% of all funds are used for MRN shipping, delivery and training, 3% is used by RAWCS/RABS for administration costs.
The Australian Tax Office has granted all donations to RAWCS and RABS projects as a tax deduction and Deductible Gift Recipient status.
What does MRN projects have to do with Rotary and RAWCS?
RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Services) and RABS ( Rotary Australia Benevolent Society) are Rotary's funds receiving arm and holds ATO tax deductible and DGR status.
Medical Repurposing Network RAWCS account Number 43-2015-16 and RABS 90-2019-20are approved RAWCS and RABS project and qualifies for ATO tax deductions.
